Student Edition of the AAF Design Guide
The State of Florida uses the Student Edition (2010) of our Construction Guide in its testing of license applicants. The AAF Student Guide is available from Construction Schools and Bookstores throughout the State, but it is not to be used for construction or permitting purposes. The Student Guide is strictly for learning the trade, acclimating to design formats and understanding industry terms.
Construction schools can now purchase the printed Student Guide directly through our website tax free to accommodate tax-exempt institutions, and a flat shipping fee will apply. For larger orders, please contact us for adjusted shipping options.

Contractor Member (Voting Member):$400
To qualify as a Contractor Member, a candidate must be a contractor who resides and conducts business in an area served by an existing AAF Chapter. Additionally, the candidate must be a member of that chapter, possess a valid contractor's license within their jurisdiction, or be qualified by another licensed individual from the same company, and fulfill all other criteria set by the AAF Board of Directors.
If you select the “Direct Member” status, you must reside and do business in an area that is not currently served by an existing AAF Chapter. Direct Members are entitled to attend all association events, including board meetings.

To qualify as a UMDA State Alliance member, your company must manufacture, distribute, or sell products or services to or for the aluminum industry, with 25 or fewer employees. You must also meet any alliance requirements that align with state bylaws.UMDA State Alliance (25 or Fewer Employees):$400

This membership tier is for companies with 26 or more employees who manufacture, distribute, or sell products or services to or for the aluminum industry. All qualifying requirements must be met in accordance with the alliance and state bylaws.UMDA State Alliance (26 or More Employees):$800

Associate Members are individuals or entities that provide goods, not for resale, or services to the construction contracting industry. This membership category is perfect for those who support the industry but are not directly involved in contracting.Associate Member (Non-Voting):$300

Professional Members must be licensed professionals under Florida Statutes, providing services to the construction contracting industry, excluding contractors and building department employees. This category includes Engineers, Architects, and other licensed professionals.Professional Member (Non-Voting):$300
