The AAF Guide contains a large number of tables. Changes in industry practices and available products effect the use of the AAF Guide as a reference. Additionally, changes to the Florida Building Code may also effect provisions in the Guide. In this section we will try and address all of these issues in a timely fashion.

Many of the “Guide’s” concrete sections and/or details refer to welded wire mesh reinforcement. The welded wire mesh reinforcement is shown as “6X6 10/10 WWM”. This commonly used antiquated nomenclature is obsolete. The (modern) updated nomenclature for this welded wire fabric slab reinforcement should now be described as: “6X6 W1.4/1.4”.

Inspect your screen resolution properties (right-click your mouse in the center of the screen on a blank desktop) and try changing to a higher screen resolution (Settings tab).
